* Project administration * Project management * Event management * PR / Media * Fundraising, marketing * Accounts and finances * Technical web skills * Translating & Interpreting (Spanish, Arabic and other languages as required) * Facilitation and Training
EDF also welcomes volunteers from overseas. People interested in volunteering with EDF must be able to support themselves financially both in terms of getting to Australia as well as living expenses in country. Whilst EDF can provide limited support, volunteers from overseas must also organize their own logistics such as visas, travel, accommodation etc. Register

3. Join the EDF Internship Program
Have you just completed your studies and looking for an opportunity to contribute to a well-established international development organization whilst gaining solid skills and knowledge in the areas of social justice and international development? EDF offers four internship intakes each year which allow interns to work on an international development program of a major development organization. It also provides opportunities for individuals to gain experience in the field of international development. EDF welcomes interns from overseas as well as from Nigeria.
The internships are voluntary; however interns are paid a stipend to cover daily travel expenses and lunch. People interested in volunteering with EDF must be able to support themselves financially both in terms of getting to Australia as well as most living expenses in country. Whilst EDF can provide limited support, potential interns must also organize their own logistics such as visas, travel, accommodation etc.
There are various internships available for each intake which run over three months in offices in EDF office Nigeria. Interns are expected to work four days a week.
Each intern will be supervised by relevant staff members and be eligible for ongoing training opportunities. These are the areas in which EDF interns have been previously engaged.
* Research * Skills Development and Training * Communications * Project Grants * Events
Qualifications & Skills Required
* An undergraduate degree in International Development, Adult Education, International Studies, Education, Economics, International Relations, Communications, Social Development, Languages, Arts or Law * Commitment to the values and aims of EDF (or to social change & social justice) * Strong Analytical skills * Initiative and ability to work independently * Demonstrated effective worker and ability to prioritise * Able to work within a team * Communication skills (including cross-cultural communication) * Language skills (Spanish Desirable)
